As you can see by the title “3 Tips for Creating a Daily Routine”, in this article I am going to share with you 3 effective tips for finding some time for you and your passions.

If you want to know more keep reading and I hope this article will turn out to be helpful for you.
Today we are all very busy and finding time to devote to what we are passionate about, whatever it is, can be very complicated. So, what is the solution to carve out a space of our own, time to devote to studying Italian or any other activity we want to do? There is no other way but to create this time.
Don’t worry, I am not talking about magic or real spells, but what I am referring to is just a matter of organization. Below I have listed a few tips that I hope will help you create a daily routine that allows you to find a space of your own, a space that though small, over time will make a difference.
1) Set an alarm clock that reminds you to study Italian.
This is a great way not to procrastinate studying Italian. Just as the sound of the alarm clock in the morning indicates that it is time to get up, the alarm clock at any other time of the day will be the signal that it is time to devote even a few minutes to Italian.
This is a DIY mechanism that works exactly like those apps that remind us that it is time to drink water or do sports. The result, though, is the same as they remind us that we need to do something important. They remind us of our goals and keep us from forgetting them.
2) Write about studying Italian in your planner.
This simple act for me has crazy power. The mere act of writing “do thing x” in the planner, even without specifying the time, is critically important. It sets in motion a series of actions and reactions. It becomes a challenge before which one cannot back down.
Is this thing in the planner? I must absolutely get it done before the end of my day.
I often find myself unable to finish all the tasks I have set for myself because I have to interrupt it to prioritize something else, but the simple fact that I have devoted some of my time to all the tasks written on the list makes me feel good and satisfied.
Writing a to-do-list allows you to do many more things than when you have no schedule to follow, even if your time remains the same. It may sound strange to you, but this theory really makes sense to me. The list makes you more industrious and saves time because you don’t have to think about what to do when you set to work: everything is already written down.
But is there a right time to study Italian?
It is clear that there is no single answer as this varies depending on your commitments, your work, and what kind of people you are, for example, early risers or night owls. If you belong to the former, it is possible that you could get up 20 minutes earlier and study, and if you belong to the latter category, you can do Italian in the evening, when you have already put the children to bed and the house is quieter.
As far as I am concerned, the best time of day during which I can devote myself to reading, studying, and taking courses is early afternoon because I generally have no students and can take an hour or so to myself. But it is obvious that any time of the day is good for practice, and if you do not have the luxury of having 30 minutes or a whole hour to yourself, you can resort to tip number 3.
3) Take advantage of downtime
It is known that there is a lot of downtime during the day, which can be filled by doing something constructive.
So, if you go to work by public transportation, take an Italian book with you and make use of that time by reading. If, on the other hand, you use your car more frequently, choose a set of Italian songs to listen to, learn and sing.
And then, while you are cooking or cleaning, try to list in Italian all the actions you perform and resort to using the dictionary to translate the words you do not know or about which you are uncertain.
With a little imagination and all the resources we have available today, it will be really easy to fall in love with Italian and impossible to do without it!
Conclusion
Many people believe that it is difficult or almost impossible to learn one or more foreign languages because our lives are becoming more and more hectic. This is certainly true but with the right motivation, a little organization, and through the use of stratagems, we can learn to find time for ourselves to devote to what we enjoy and that makes us feel good.
